Lynn A. Nixon

Lynn Nixon is the Global Chief Marketing Officer of The LCP Group, L.P. (LCP). She provides strategic direction for all of LCP’s global marketing functions including brand, sales enablement, customer experience, and public relations.

Ms. Nixon has more than 35 years of sales and marketing experience in the financial industry including global asset management and major insurance carrier and brokerage across institutional, retail, and startup environments. She has a strong track record of driving brand recognition, lead generation, customer acquisition, internal communications, and digital and creative services in both Fortune 500 and boutique firms.

Prior to LCP, Ms. Nixon served as the Global Head of Brand and Content at American Express GBT where she led a major firm rebrand and developed the value proposition, revamped the website, built and managed a creative team of writers and designers, and built and managed the marketing and compliance review team. She was responsible for supporting all activities related to lead generation and lead nurture, customer acquisition, events, and custom bids. She also led the global content strategy to drive profitable growth in B2B and B2B2C markets with a 97%+ client satisfaction score and winning the largest global client in 2018 at $150 million. In addition, her team won the 2016 Kapost 50 Winner award for “The Best of the Best in B2B Content Marketing.”

Before American Express, Ms. Nixon spent almost a decade at Prudential Financial, Inc., where she held sales and marketing leadership roles across Prudential’s Strategic Solutions team, Asset Management business, Group and Individual Insurance businesses, and Annuity business. She was instrumental in driving marketing strategy and guiding sales organizations to produce more than $400 billion in assets under management and more than $700 million in annual premium, and with winning two landmark pension risk transfer deals for $33 billion.

Earlier in her career, she held marketing, sales, and investor relations roles at Optima Fund Management, The Guardian Life Insurance Company, Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, and boutique insurance brokerages.

Ms. Nixon is an alumnus of New York University where she majored in Organizational Behavior, Communications, and has a Digital Marketing Certificate. She previously held FINRA Series 7, 6, 63, and 66 licenses, and New Jersey and New York state insurance licenses.
