J. Mark Tobin

Mark Tobin is the Executive Vice President of Real Estate Operations for The LCP Group, L.P. (LCP). He is primarily responsible for executing LCP’s asset management initiatives.

Prior to joining LCP, Mr. Tobin spent 15 years as a Principal at HREC Development Resources where he executed upon initiatives primarily in lodging investment management, development management, transaction counseling, and other asset advisory services. Prior to HREC, Mr. Tobin held principal and corporate officer roles at Hotel Investment Partners and MONY Real Estate Investment Management. Earlier in his career, he held consulting roles in lodging real estate and operations.

Mr. Tobin has more than 35 years of experience in the hotel real estate business. He has been involved in more than $3 billion in hotel real estate assets including single assets for high net worth individuals, large-scale hotel ownership by quasi-governmental entities, as well as debt and equity portfolio management for institutional investors.

Mr. Tobin did his graduate work at the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Norwich University. He has completed several professional education programs at New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate where he was a New York Realty Foundation scholarship recipient. He has also completed professional programs at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and the Urban Land Institute. He holds professional memberships with the Hospitality Asset Managers Association and the Urban Land Institute Public and Private Partnership Council and holds a Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) designation.
